All measurements and observations were taken by Rochelle Streker, Faren Worthington, and Will Ziegler during the tuesday lab section of NR 25-Measurements and Mapping at the University of Vermont taught by Walt Poleman. We went to Niquette Bay State Park 4 times to visit our sites, collect data, and record our observations (spending approximately 10 hours total in the field studying our site). We collected data pertaining to soil formtation, soil pH, natural community types, forest covers, tree measurements, coarse woody debris, snags and other wildlife habitat features. We also took all of the photos, unless indicated otherwise.
